Time: 9.00AM - 4.00PM 

Theme: FASHION EDITORIAL

The theme of the workshop is how to shoot a fashion editorial with natural and artificial lights. Beginner, semi-professional, and professional levels will be integrated with the goal of learning through the exchange and exploration of new perspectives.


Schedule Day

Morning: 

The morning session covers studio lighting, posing and creative direction. You will also have the opportunity to meet the styling team and ask questions.

Fashion Stylist: /

You will then have the opportunity to shoot with a professional model in the studio. I will be sharing many different lighting setup that I use in various client assignments and editorial magazine. 

Lunch break: 1 Hour break for lunch starting between 12:30 and 1pm

Fee Includes: A light breakfast, lunch and refreshments. Does not include flight, accommodation or transportation. 

Afternoon:

The second part of the day will be dedicated to post-production. – I will show you how to create the efficient workflow and highlighting techniques used in today’s industry. I'm going to give you many tools about skin retouching, dodge&burn, split frequency, and color grading. You will also gain insight into the business side of the industry through discussions on how to getting published, pitching to clients, and social media tips.

The goal is to learn how to create a fashion editorial shoot from A to Z.

  • Creating a moodboard
  • Casting your team
  • Communication
  • Casting your model using model agencies
  • Callsheets
  • Organising the shoot
  • Correct ways to pose a model
  • Choosing the right clothes and styling
  • Working with makeup artist
  • Lighting for high fashion shots
  • Editing pictures/find your style :
  • Workflow/different light setups


You will leave that day with not only newly acquired skills and techniques, but also creative new shots for your portfolio!


Equipment required: 

- A camera 

- One or more lenses (wide angles of lenses) because the theme is Fashion.

- A laptop  (preferably with Photoshop), a tablet or a mouse. 

- Something to take notes (pencil, notebook, sheet ...).

- A  good mood!

Images will be requested from you in advance to showcase each student's portfolio on a keynote.
